Adult Tryouts 2026/27 - Everything You Need to Know

We're excited to begin preparations for the 2026/27 season and are now inviting adult players with previous volleyball experience to register for our competitive team tryouts.
Tryouts will take place between 10th August and 28th August 2026, ahead of the new season starting in September.
Adult tryouts
To register, please complete the Adult Tryouts Form by 31st July 2026.
Please note this registration is for new members only.
Before completing the form, please refer to the What’s My Level? Self Assessment Guide below to help you choose the most appropriate playing level.
Please allow until 2nd August to receive your follow-up email and invitation to try out for one of our Ladies 1-4 or Men's 1-4 teams.
Sessions will take place on weekday evenings at our venue in Fishponds, Bristol, with two available time slots:
6.00pm to 8.00pm
8.00pm to 10.00pm
Once invited, you'll receive full venue details and your allocated sessions. This information will also be available on Spond.
Development team
If you're a beginner or improver wishing to join our Development team, please note that the team is currently almost full due to high demand. If a space becomes available, we'll contact you by 1st September 2026.
Important dates
31st July - Adult Tryouts registration closes
2nd August - Invitations sent to applicants
10th August - Adult tryouts begin
1st September - Team invitations and tryout outcomes sent
4th September - Deadline to accept your place
7th September - Training season begins
Tryout fee
£8 per session (plus booking fee).
